All about 100 schools in Assam-Arunachal border

When I was campaigning for Tezpur Lok Sabha seat in March this year, I came to know something unusual. There are about 100 schools in Assam-Arunachal border which were not provincialized despite having all requisite documents, except one. They could not submit the land NoC as they were told their schools were...
on forest land. But today, while talking up the issue with Education Minister Sri Pradut Bordoloi and other concerned Assam government officials, I was told that if they can get the NoC from district forest officials under the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, there is a hope for getting those provincialized. Let me assure everyone that I will take up their issues at every forum, provided they have the requisite documents. Anyway, Education Minister today gave a patient hearing to teachers belonging to associations of junior college (HS 7 Years), computer teachers, contractual teachers and ME school teachers. I was present during the meeting that took place in a cordial atmosphere.
